About

Whitney Quitta, PA-C, is a bone marrow transplant physician assistant who most recently worked at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She earned her degree in microbiology with honors from The University of Texas at Austin and a master’s in physician assistant studies from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences in New York.

Whitney has expertise in all points of patient care, including conditioning chemotherapy, stem cell infusion, management of post-transplant complications and more. She is comfortable caring for specialized transplant patient populations with skill and compassion. At Sloan-Kettering she founded the Adult Bone Marrow Transplant Supportive Care Task Force, an interdisciplinary care team designed to enhance and facilitate care for patients with a high risk for poor outcomes.

Throughout her career she has enjoyed sharing her expertise with physician assistant students during their clinical rotations and training newly hired advanced practice providers.

Whitney is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology.
