Faheem Ahmed, MD

About

Dr. Faheem Ahmed received his medical degree from Dow Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his Internal Medicine training at Queens General Hospital, Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. He received his Hematology and Oncology training at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. After obtaining Hematology Oncology training he worked at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. He moved to Texas and worked as medical oncology provider in a community practice and Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

He joined Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy training at Sarah Cannon Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program at South Austin Medical Center as a fellow and completed his training. He had long affiliation Texas Transplant Physician Group at St. David’s South Austin Medical Center where he became part of the team after completing his training.

Dr. Ahmed specializes in treatment of hematologic malignancies, bone marrow transplant, CAR-T cell therapy to treat malignant and non-malignant blood and lymphoid disorders.

Beyond his extensive training and expertise, Dr. Faheem Ahmed is deeply committed to the compassionate and attentive care of his patients.
