Cydney Rana, MSN, FNP-C

About

Cydney Palmer Rana, MSN, FNP-C, earned her undergraduate nursing degree with honors from Texas Christian University. She underwent an oncology fellowship with UT Southwestern where her love of the oncology population first began. After obtaining her BSN and working at UT Southwestern as an RN, she then returned home to Austin where she began working for St. David’s SAMC on the BMT unit. While working as an inpatient nurse she obtained her MSN at University of Texas at Arlington, and eventually transitioned to the Nurse Practitioner role with the BMT program.

Cydney enjoys caring for a diverse range of oncology patients, including conditioning chemotherapy, stem cell transplant, long-term post-transplant care, research patients, and more. In her free time you can find her chasing after her toddler, going to concerts with her husband and friends, and spending time with family at home.
