About

Bonnie Pope, MSN, FNP-C is an advanced oncology certified nurse practitioner. She graduated summa cum laude from Concordia University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and received her Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University. During her time at Duke, she specialized in oncology and spent a semester training at Duke Cancer Center. Prior to joining Texas Transplant Physician Group, she worked as a medical oncology nurse practitioner at Texas Oncology in Round Rock. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Bonnie was a staff nurse in inpatient hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplant at St. David’s South Austin Medical Center. She is happy to be back here working with this team and population of patients.

She is currently on the board of the Central Texas Oncology Nursing Society. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy.
